Excellent experience learning to drive with 1st Driving School and especially with Julian Barker as my instructor. He was very calm and patient with me learning to drive for the first time. Very professional and not strict but ensuring to be stern if performing a dangerous manoeuvre. Took 55 hours to learn from scratch and passed on my first attempt with only two minor faults so if your looking at 1st Driving School try to nab Julian!

I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. I was able to pass my exam 1st time with only 22 hours of lessons and I didn’t have any other car to practice at home. Ash was always pushing me to be my best and he did what he could to make me a good driver.

Steve was my instructor, couldn’t recommend him more. Passed my test first time with only 3 minors, within months of learning thanks to Steve. If you want to learn how to drive safely and confidently learn from Steve!

I took 20 hours with Faizah and passed my test! She's very professional, but also very friendly and makes you feel comfortable in the car. She's very knowledgeable and always gives little tips and tricks. She stayed patient throughout and I would recommend her highly!!! Thank you 1st driving school for directing me to Faizah.

Stuart Nelson’s patience and understanding has been exceptional throughout my driving lessons. I put off learning to drive until I was 20 because of a lack of confidence and the nerves previous instructors left me with. I couldn't envision myself ever driving until Stuart came along. He's been the ideal instructor, always listening, assisting, and supporting me every step of the way. I started lessons with Tim, who I explained that I need things explaining simply to me, he was very patient, kind and understanding with a great sense of humor. He made me feel extremely comfortable and when I struggled to do certain things Tim explained it in a different way for me to understand. Tim arrived on time every week not a minute late. I took my test and passed on my first attempt with only 2 minors and a really difficult route. I would 100 percent recommend Tim to everyone who needed a automatic instructor! Thank you so much Tim!

Kevin Hopps is a top notch teacher. Super easy-going and genuine guy. He makes driving enjoyable and teaches you what you need to know whilst not making a big deal out of mistakes.
