I feel really lucky to have had Crystal as my driving instructor! If you are looking for someone friendly, patient and very knowledgeable about driving, then Crystal is your person. She made sure she understood my learning style and suggested several techniques to help me improve my driving and confidence and these really helped me to feel ready for my test. I was supported and regularly encouraged and always felt in very safe hands. Crystal was great at building a quick rapport too and making me feel comfortable and calm, especially on test day! Lessons were always well structured with time for reflection and future planning at the end and Crystal always arrived in plenty of time. The Total Drive app used by 1st Driving School was great too for keeping organised with lesson times and payment etc. Thank you Crystal, I will miss our lessons! Would highly recommend to anyone!

Crystal was an absolutely fab instructor. Very knowledgeable, informative and just puts you at ease. Very patient and understanding making driving less stressful and providing a comfortable learning environment. Explained everything in a way that you would understand, was more than happy to go over things repeatedly until she found a way to make it make sense for you. Couldn’t recommend her enough. I learnt to drive with Crystal from 1st Driving School and I honestly could not have asked for a better instructor. She was kind and patient, and understood how my autism affected the way I learnt and found ways around it. I always thought I would never be able to drive because of my autism but Crystal changed that and I passed my test! I will honestly miss the chats we had in the car and would highly recommend her, and the school, to anyone looking to drive. Thank you Crystal.

Crystal was my driving instructor, she always put 101% in and would always be on time. She was very kind, understanding and patient and always encouraged me to do my best. I couldn’t asked for a better driving instructor.

I had a great experience with my driving instructor Crystal! She was amazing, she was patient with me and would always explained things to me when I didn’t understand, no matter how many times. If there was something that I couldn’t understand, she would use a different method or approach that would help me. She wouldn’t put me through anything if I wasn’t ready. She is honest and truthful and tells you what you need to hear and allows you to hold yourself accountable. Which is something I really appreciated. She believed in me and was confident in my ability which made me confident in myself, allowing me to pass first time (whilst being pregnant). Couldn’t thank her enough an amazing instructor. Would highly recommend!!

This is a fantastic driving school that I'd highly recommend for anyone that's looking to drive. I'd been with 2 other schools before this one and failed my test. But as soon as I came to this school within the first few lessons I was already feeling like a better driver as my instructor Crystal corrected all my bad habits and made me extremely confident on the roads, in a short amount of time. I passed my test with only 3 minors and I'm very grateful for the guidance my instructor provided throughout my lessons and leading up to my test. If you want to learn to drive I'd definitely start here.

Crystal is hands down one of the most friendly, understanding and patient people I’ve ever met—not only as a driving instructor but as a person too. Crystal is extremely knowledgeable and skilled with her work—she has several different ways in which she teaches and easily adapts to your learning level and style. She encourages and pushes you to comfortable limits she feels confident you can achieve, whilst remaining vigilant and ensuring everyone’s safety. I was so nervous for the first 6 lessons, and Crystal built my confidence. I highly recommend Crystal.
