I personally picked a fantastic instructor ‘Andy’ that taught me so much over the months and for a great price!.. compared to others nowadays. He was also very patient, caring and insightful. So thanks to ‘Andy’ I passed my test! Honestly I fully recommend ‘1st driving school’.

I cannot recommend 1st Driving School enough - Andy is an absolute credit to the team and I could not of passed without him. I passed my theory and practical first time with the instructor Andy. He was very calm and taught me a lot in such a small amount of time. I had no prior driving knowledge but soon picked it up as well as my confidence in driving within the first two weeks. Andy would always make sure I perfected the routes, manoeuvres before starting something new. Any time I made a mistake, we would re-do it until there was no longer any mistakes and anything I did positive, he would always make sure to point out what I did in order to reassure me that I was actually learning what I was paying for.

Andy was a great driving instructor. Super friendly and I always felt comfortable and enjoyed our lessons each week. I was really well prepared for my test and the reason I passed is owed entirely to his teaching. I would recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to drive. Thank you for everything, I really appreciate it!

I want to say a massive thank you to Andy for getting me to the point where I passed my test first time! Andy made the lessons so relaxed and fun and really helped my confidence. There was no pressure on how fast you learn and builds the lessons around you. Would recommend him to anyone.

Helps you feel at ease. I struggled with reverse bay parking & Andy suggested an adaptation to the manoeuvre which I nailed on test. Easy to get along with & helps build your confidence. I just want to say a big thank you to Andy Kerr!! I failed my test last year in 2023 which I then had to get a new instructor, I was referred to 1st Driving School, which Andy was able to give me lessons as he covered my area. About me, I am very very nervous in test situations, not confident in myself, felt like I wanted to give up in lessons because I can’t stand the nerves but from day 1 Andy had full confidence in me that I will pass my next driving test and that he was confident on ensuring that I build my confidence which in turn, my confidence got better for the next test. I passed my test today! 25/03/2024 with 5 minors. I just want to say Thank you!!

After having a lot of difficulty with my first instructor I got in touch with 1st Driving School who gave me Andy's number. Since then I've had no problems. Andy is very easy to get along with and I passed second time. I would recommend to anyone no matter how far you are with your driving progress.

Highly recommended! Andy Kerr is the best. 2nd time pass, 1st was my error of judgment but managed 2nd with only 2 minor faults. He cares and is very funny. Overall nice bloke to get along with, thank you.

After failing a few times in Sheffield before moving to Derby, Andy helped me pass my driving test with ease. He is a brilliant instructor who gives zero pressure and makes you feel confident and comfortable whilst driving. I would recommend him to everyone wanting to pass in the future.
